Recipe Spicy Sriracha Mayonnaise

The spicy mayonnaise consists of three ingredients: Japanese mayonnaise, Sriracha sauce and lime juice.

I personally prefer the Sriracha sauce of Huy Fong Foods. It is easily recognized by the famous logo of the rooster. It is not only spicy, but also full of flavor.

The Japanese mayonnaise from Kewpie is of course a must to use for this spicy sauce. Its unique flavor can’t be compared to anything else and simply “belongs” in the sushi kitchen.

The preparation of this sauce is quite simple. Mix 2 tablespoons of Japanese mayonnaise with 2 teaspoons of Sriracha sauce. If you like it super spicy, add a little more of this sauce. If you have guests who don’t like hot food, then do a little less.

Next, cut a fresh lime in half and add some lime juice for some delicious freshness. Don’t add too much, because then your sauce will be way too watery.

Stir everything together well and your spicy mayonnaise is ready to be used. Delicious!
